　　In North Jakarta, the trade-in value of 70kg of aluminium cans – around 4,500 empty cans – isequivalent to 1g of gold at the Wijaya Kusuma Waste Bank.

　　在雅加達(dá)北部，70kg鋁罐(約4,500個空罐)就能在Wijaya Kusuma垃圾銀行兌換1g黃金。

　　Other recyclables such as cardboard and plastic bottles are also accepted by the programmeinitiated by the Bermis Gading neighbourhood in January last year.

　　Bermis Gading街區(qū)去年1月份發(fā)起的這個項(xiàng)目也接受紙板和塑料瓶等其他回收物。

　　The waste bank was set up with a simple mission – to encourage the locals to recycle andreduce waste. After residents deposit recyclables here, the waste bank would clean and sellthem to the North Jakarta government.

　　成立這家垃圾銀行的目的很簡單，就是要鼓勵當(dāng)?shù)厝嘶厥詹p少垃圾。居民將回收物送到這里以后，垃圾銀行會將其清洗并出售給雅加達(dá)北部政府。

　　In April this year, pawnshop PT Pegadaian offered to collaborate with this waste bank – and fourother waste banks in Jakarta – by rewarding the residents with gold.

　　今年4月份國有當(dāng)鋪公司要和這家垃圾銀行以及雅加達(dá)另外4家垃圾銀行合作，用黃金獎勵居民。

　　Mdm Roswanthy Suweden, 67, is one of the serious participants of the programme. She hascollected enough recyclables to receive more than 10g of gold.

　　67歲的Mdm Roswanthy Suweden很認(rèn)真地參與這個項(xiàng)目，她攢的回收物已經(jīng)可以兌換超過10g黃金。

　　"I'm happy. I save little by little, and over time I have a lot. The gold is for my children andgrandchildren," she told CNA at the waste bank.

　　她在垃圾銀行對CNA說：“我很高興，我一點(diǎn)一點(diǎn)攢，時間長了就攢了很多。我要把金子給我的孩子們和孫子孫女。”

　　Head of North Jakarta environment agency Mr Slamet Riyadi applauded the idea of offeringgold as an incentive to recycle.

　　雅加達(dá)北部環(huán)境機(jī)構(gòu)的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)Slamet Riyadi對用黃金激勵循環(huán)利用的想法表示贊許。

　　Women, who usually manage the households, will find the scheme attractive, he said.

　　他說女性通常管家，她們會覺得這個計劃很有吸引力。

　　"Before it worked together with the pawnshop, it had around 34 or 36 customers (residentswho took part in the programme). But since the partnership, the number increased to 105," MrRiyadi said.

　　Riyadi先生說：“在和國有當(dāng)鋪公司合作之前，有34位或36位顧客(都是參與該項(xiàng)目的居民)。但合作之后人數(shù)上升到了105人。”

　　Besides Jakarta, similar "trash for gold" schemes are also found in other Indonesian cities likePalembang, Bandar Lampung and Makassar.

　　除了雅加達(dá)，其他印尼城市也有類似的“垃圾換黃金”的項(xiàng)目，如巨港、班達(dá)楠榜和望加錫。
