　　一株雛菊很高興地生活在草地上。一天下午，當(dāng)雛菊正炫耀她非常潔白的花瓣時(shí)，一只云雀飛來(lái)親了她金色的花蕊。雛菊感到很受重視，那些比她更漂漂亮的花兒只能表現(xiàn)得傲慢和嫉妒：當(dāng)她們看到這愛(ài)戀場(chǎng)面，郁金香氣得變成了紅色，牡丹則嫉妒得開(kāi)始膨脹。

　　A Daisy lived happily in the meadow. One afternoon, while the Daisy was showing off her very white petals, a skylark came and kissed her golden heart. The daisies felt valued, and the prettier flowers could only show pride and envy: when they saw the love, the tulips turned red, the peonies swelled with envy.

　　The Daisy was even happier when the lark sang songs about freedom and love. But some of the children set a trap for the singing lark and caught her. At the same time they caught some grass in the grass where the Daisy was growing, and put her in the cage, too.
